The Type 1000 / 2000 automatic sharpening machines are the ideal machines to grind friction saws and hot saws from (120) 400 to 1000 mm / 360 to 2000 diameters.

Characteristic are the compact, heavy duty design for long and trouble-free service life; all essential
pre-conditions for outstanding grinding results.
The Type 1000/2000 are extremely simple to operate and set, even during operation. All the drive
elements are located in the enclosed machine housings.
The infinitely variable-speed gear permits the most favourable speed to be selected at all times anywhere
between 30 and 75 / 15 and 50 teeth per minute. The long, generously dimensioned grinding
head guide is a determining factor in ensuring the high standard of quality. Grinding wheels with a
diameter of 250 mm guarantee a high grinding output.
The required tooth shapes are set simply by adjusting a lever.
Saw blades with missing teeth can be simply machined with the aid of the feed pawl. Selection of an
indexing gear allows the profile grinding of saws, even if the gullet is blocked by tinder.
The machines are fitted as standard with a dust extraction system which can be connected to a
grinding dust filter.
